Seven Important Affirmations to Balance Your Chakras

Using the power of affirmations (the practice of positive thinking and self-empowerment) is an effective ways to balance the Chakras of the body. Our thoughts create our reality, and by repeatedly practising positive Chakra balancing affirmations, one can get marvellous results in our lives. According to ancient yogic traditions, there are 7 main Chakras or energy centres in the human body.



Each of these Chakras resembles a specific color-coded vibration frequency in the universe which impacts our spiritual, physical and emotional well-being. When our Chakras are perfectly aligned with the general flow of energy, every facet of our life becomes joyful and harmonious. We regain perfect health, and our love and passion for life become renewed.

While using the following affirmations, sit or lie down in a silent place and focus on the location of every Chakra. As you speak out or quite meditate on each affirmation, imagine a wheel spinning face-up in a clockwise direction in the particular colour frequency of each Chakra:

1. Root Chakra – This Chakra is located at the base of the spine and corresponds to the Red colour. The Root Chakra relates to our basic human instinct for stability, survival, and security.

Affirmation: “I am a divine being of light, and I am protected, peaceful and secure”

2. Sacral Chakra – This Chakra is located just below our navel in the lower abdominal region. The color of Sacral chakra is a saturated orange and relates to reproduction on a physical level, joy and imagination and relationships on an emotional level and our vigour and passions on a spiritual level.

Affirmation: “I am happy, beautiful, stunning and strong and enjoy a healthy and passionate life”

3. Solar Plexus Chakra This Chakra is located above our navel and directly in our abdominal area. This Chakra thus plays a significant role in digestion and glows in a bright yellow color. Solar Plexus Chakra deals with growth and pertains to matters like intellect, control, personal power and spiritual evolution.

Affirmation: “I am positively empowered, positive and successful in all my undertakings”

4. Heart Chakra – This Chakra is located at the midpoint of the chest and spins with the vibrant green color of spring. Heart chakra is the most important meditation tool for clearing and cleansing spiritual imbalances. The key matters related to the Heart Chakra are unconditional love, compassion, happiness and well-being.

Affirmation: “Love is the answer to all in life, and I give and receive love smoothly and unconditionally”.


5. Throat Chakra – Throat chakra is centered in our throat and radiates a pale blue light. This Chakra governs our ability to express and communicate clear ideas and thoughts. It is also related to maturity, independence, truth and the ability to trust others.

Affirmation: “My thoughts are always positive, and I always express myself truthfully, honestly and clearly”.

6. Third Eye Chakra – This Chakra is located in the center of our forehead, between our eyebrows. Third Eye is also known as the brow Chakra spins in a deep saturated dark blue hue and aids us to tap into our divine vision and inner guidance. This Chakra deals with releasing repressed emotions, developing intuitive clarity and attaining self-realization.

Affirmation: “I am tuned into the divine universal knowledge and always understand the true meaning of life circumstances”.

7. Crown Chakra – This Chakra is located in the crown area or at the top of our head and corresponds to the violet colour. The role of Crown Chakra is based on awakening consciousness and achieving enlightenment through the integration of the self into the one universal form of intellect.

Affirmation: “I am complete with the divine energy”.

Chakra balancing affirmations can build astonishing revolutions in our spiritual healing journey. There can be nothing more effective and transformation than using the power of positive thought to bring positive changes in the mind, soul, and body.
