With the introduction of The Goods and Service Tax (GST), states can expect their revenues to increase, particularly those that don’t manufacture goods and rely on supply from different Indian states. In short, the disadvantage of certain states over others stands negated. For a country the size of a continent, its effect on the economy will be transformational.
