Ever wonder why your friend seems to be able to eat a pizza without gaining a single pound, while you eat just a single bit and it all trapped to your belly? The simple answer is your body metabolism. Metabolism of the body is the rate at which the body burns calories, which is dependant upon key factors outside of one’s control, like age, gender and the ratio of the muscle to fat, as body muscle burns extra calories than fat, even when you are resting. The daily exercise routine also plays a crucial role in body metabolism. While you may be burning fewer calorie a day at the age of 40 yrs then you were in your thirties, there are various simple things you can do to stimulate your body metabolism and increase fat burning.

In its place, simply mix a couple of teaspoons of organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar with the fewest amount of water, and a small amount of raw honey to sweeten it up. Sipping it throughout the day can help stimulate the metabolism, weight loss, and fat burning. Apple Vinegar has long been used as a fat loss aid as it also helps to make you feel complete, and has been scientifically shown to increase satiety. One amazing trick for weight loss involving vegetable juice is to drink a glass just before your meal. It is likely to reduce the total calories you eat by making you feel fuller faster.

5. Alkaline Water

Reducing acidity can aid in preventing the fat storage that can occur when toxins accumulate. That is because an abundance of acidity in the tissues of the body can lead to several health issues. When there is too much acid in the body, it can’t be easily processed and excreted, so the body holds onto fat as an adaptive mechanism, resulting in body weight gain. When it comes to weight management, keeping the metabolism at its max and including burning fat, this means that in the bodies of those regularly drinking alkaline water, there is no need to create more fat cells to neutralize acids that come from things like fast food or junk food. Thus, fat storage is reduced, making it easier to lose weight than a body that is highly acidic.

6. Plain Water

Staying hydrated is a must for an efficiently running metabolism. One University of Utah study found that participants who drank 8-12 glasses of water daily burned excessive calories when at rest as those who drank four glasses of water. Cold water, in particular, is said to help the body burn extra calories, as it needs that energy to heat it up & digest it. Drinking a glass of water before any meal can help you to consume small calories when eating as you will fill up faster. Researchers from the U.K.’s University of Birmingham have found that drinking 500ml of water a ½ hour before eating meals may help an obese person to lose weight. Participants who drank 16 ounces of water thirty minutes before any meal lost 9 pounds over a 12-week period, considerably more than those who didn’t drink the water.
