The Heart Chakra- Colour, Symbol, Location and Behavioural personalities

The Heart Chakra is the 4th Chakra, which is located at the center of the Chakra system, it connects the spiritual and the earthly Chakras. It is linked with the many expressions of love, compassion, sympathy and relating to oneself and others. The function of the Heart chakra is driven by the principle of integration and connection.

Heart Chakra meaning- The fourth Chakra is stated as:

The Sanskrit name for the Heart Chakra is “Anahata”, meaning “unstruck”. Anahata  Chakra is related to the element of air. As such, its divine energy is chiefly associated to the breath and its movements, as well as the idea of association with all things.

Heart Chakra Colour:

This is most commonly signified with the color green. The auric color of this chakra energy can also be seen as a smoky pink.

Heart chakra symbol:
The Heart chakra’s symbol is composed of:
  • A circle with twelve petals.
  • An upward-pointing triangle interlaced with an downward-pointing triangle, forming a hexagram or six-pointed star.
The intersecting triangles denotes the air element and its all encompassing attribute. They also represent the union of seemingly opposite principles or types of energies, such as spirit and matter, Ying (male) and Yang (female), etc. The star that they form evokes the pleasant joining of forces and highlights the function of the chakra as a center of connection and integration. 

Heart Chakra Location:

The precise location for the fourth Chakra is at the center of the chest. As a chakra, it is important to think of that it is multidimensional and is often signified with a front going through the center of the chest, and a back going through the spine in the mid of the shoulder blades. Because of its location, this Chakra is associated to the lungs and the cardiac system. These organs are mutually dependent and rely on air and breathing to function properly. The gland linked with the heart Chakra is the thymus, which is in charge of controlling the immune system.

Behavioral personalities of the Heart chakra:
The Heart Chakra is associated with the following behavioral and psychological characteristics:

The Heart Chakra is about connection and linking. While focusing on this Chakra, the emphasis is on love, receiving and giving, and how open we are in relationships. Another function is to bond and connect the lower and upper Chakras and their energies. In other words, this Chakra acts as a center of integration of earthly & spiritual matters. There is no contrast: In the heart, the experience integrates the two and allows us to relate to both aspirations in co-ordination.

Love is the energy that aids to transfigure emotions and understandings. It is an essential element of any relationship. Love in the heart Chakra is not just about passion and romance, but about going beyond the perimeter of the ego and preoccupations with oneself into compassion, kindness , nd acceptance of all that is. This precise Chakra is also a center through which we experience beauty in life. Seeing the world through a balanced fourth chakra is being in a state of acceptance and openness that brings us in touch with the world and ourselves in profound and satisfying ways.

Heart chakra imbalance reason:

The heart Chakra can become imbalanced as a result of physical ailments, life experiences, or major changes in the environment. It may manifests as an overactive Chakra or a heart Chakra blockage.

Imbalances can manifest as:
  •         Jealousy, Fear of intimacy
  •         Being overly self-protective
  •         Excessive isolation, loner, antisocial
  •         Always putting oneself in the role of the savior or the rescuer
  •         Holding complaints, grudges not being to forgive
  •         Being codependent by relying on other’s approval and attention, trying to satisfy at       all cost

When this precise chakra is blocked, you may experience Heart Chakra pain.
