Introduction
The devotion and belief in Gods leads us to surrender ourselves in their holy feet. In Hinduism, it is believed that by touching the feet of a deity or Spiritual guru, we release our ego and get rid of bad thoughts and negative energies. As in Hindu tradition holy feet has been given upmost importance in our Vedas, then how can we overlook the mystic power of ‘nectar from the feet of God’. The sacred and valuable ‘Charnamrit’ means Charan- feet and Amrit-holy nectar from Gods; has always been consumed by us at shrines and religious places, yet most of us thought about its power and importance.
Importance of its ingredients:
Charnamrit is composed of 5 key ingredients i.e. curd, ghee, milk, honey and sugar. Holy water and Tulsi (basil) leaves are also added by few to this mixture. All these constituents that are commonly used by us in the regular routine, combine together to create holy nectar that bestows us with happiness and purity.
